sorry for not writing in french, but for some one who traveled the world, you should be able to understand.
I do not understand why you feel it's necessary to intervin every time you read some thing you don't like, or you think is not true. even the typing mistakes, I mean you don't have to be a genius to figure out that it should read "2000 and not 20000" for example.
this forum, is mainly for culture. and culture is not an "exact science"
so,there is my litle story, (which I posted previously on the old forum) it's told by "Sufis" for hundrends of years:
an elephant had been brought from a far country, and it was beeing kept in a dark stable. some people entered, and as they could not see, they started to feel their way.
the first man felt the ears, and thought that they were fans.
the second felt the legs, and concluded that they were pillars.
the third, touching the trunc, felt sure that this must be a snake.
they had no lantern with them, otherwise there would have been no discord of opinion.
OPINION, you see, is based upon fragmentory, not total,experience.
this is a wonderfull analogy which shows how people judge things through their own subjectivity, and which hints at the possibility of a "lantern".
was the lantern a man, a way of looking at things, a book, a stage of society?
I think , it's there when-ever people come together, and desire to be together. you, me, da'Amirouche.....etc
